In the Argentine Polo Field in Palermo, the fifth day (third in Zone A) of the 124th Argentine Open HSBC Polo Championship, the highest interclub event in the world, with the participation of 10 teams of 29 a 40 goals of valorization, grouped in two zones, conformed by the most important players of Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Spain, South Africa and Uruguay.
In first turn, in court 2, La Aguada Las Monjitas defeated by 11-8 La Esquina L. M. Navarro Correas and thus was able to define zone A, after achieving 3 wins in the same number of presentations. En el Campo Argentino de Polo en Palermo se disputó el martes 14/11 la quinta jornada (tercera por la Zona A) del 124° Campeonato Argentino Abierto de Polo HSBC, máximo certamen mundial de interclubes, con la participación de 10 equipos de 29 a 40 goles de valorización, agrupados en dos zonas,conformados por los jugadores más importantes de Argentina, Brasil, Canadá, España, Sudáfrica y Uruguay.
En primer turno, en la cancha 2, La Aguada Las Monjitas derrotó por 11-8 a La Esquina L. M. Navarro Correas y de esta manera quedó en condiciones de definir la zona A, tras conseguir 3 triunfos en igual cantidad de presentaciones. En cambio, a La Esquina se le complica la clasificación a 2018 y ya no depende de sí mismo. Deberá vencer a La Albertina y esperar otros resultados.
A continuación, el tetracampeón La Dolfina Sancor Seguros no tuvo contemplaciones ante La Albertina Abu Dhabi y lo venció por 22 a 6 para quedarse con la Copa Omint. Con este resultado, el conjunto de Cañuelas ya quedó clasificado al 2018, mientras que La Albertina deberá ganar al menos uno de los dos encuentros que le quedan para intentar clasificar.
En tanto, el miércoles 15 se disputará la sexta fecha (tercera de la Zona B). A las 14.00 en la cancha 2 jugarán Alegría Land Rover vs. Chapaleufú Cardón; mientras que a las 16.30 lo harán en la 1,el reciente ganador del Abierto del Hurlingham Club, Ellerstina Johor, vs. LD La Dolfina Polo Ranch, respectivamente.
Tras los partidos, se desarrollará en la cancha 2, a partir de las 20.00, el I Juego de Habilidades de Polo, Nocturno. ¡Palermo se iluminará! ¡No te lo podés perder!
