Stay up to date with London's only polo club. View this email in your browser This Weekend This weekend kicks off this evening with the Fishers Gin Friday Evening Polo with M Club Restaurants. Tomorrow Ham travel to Cowdray with a club team to play the annual Cowdray vs Ham fixture at 2pm. on Ambersham 2 ground in Midhurst. On Sunday another full programme of polo is planned with the Jimmy Edwards Trophy the highlight match. Last Week at the Club Polo Challenge Trophy The first match on Sunday was the Polo Challenge Trophy. With the pitch in fantastic condition for September, Avengers and Hollywood took to the field. It was a thrilling match between the teams. The handicap committee will be having a look at several of the players no doubt with some great performances on show. Avengers just pipped Hollywood to the win to take the grand looking Polo Challenge Trophy for 2018. Hunt Kendall Bowl Hunt Kendall the in house club caterers have been involved with Ham Polo Club for over 25 years and their annual trophy has been a long standing tradition at the club. The winner gets to share the spoils of the bowl with their counterparts making the win all the more sweeter! This year Quadriga played Foxtrot Whisky with a roster of Ham players on each team.  This year it was Foxtrot Whisky running out the winners after some great teamwork. They happily shared the rather vast trifle between there counterparts. Jet Set vs Stepien Lake For the final match of Sunday's polo Stepien Lake played Jet Set in a friendly match. Stepien Lake featured a Ventura and Davis duo along with Chris Porter. Katharine Smithwick's Jet Set also featured two Teroerde's with Patrick and Lizzi along with Santi Araya. Jet Set were victorious over Stepien Lake with a last minute goal from Santi Araya sealing the win. Congratulations go to Quentin and Rachael Davis who were celebrating their 40th Ruby wedding anniversary, the players raised a glass of champagne to them at the presentation.
